Drama

Theatre lives in the present tense. It is always here and now. Whether the story is drawn from Ancient Greece or set in some futuristic world of tomorrow, the sense of occasion and participation make it a communal event.

WAITING FOR GODOT

By Samuel Beckett
Considered the definitive dramatic work embodying existentialism, Waiting for Godot portrays two lonely travelers who wait for the mysterious figure of Godot, and in the process question the meaning of life.  The world in which these characters live is both funny and absurd, where they consider what to do while they wait and what in life is truly worth waiting for.
