Graduation, Commencement, and Diplomas

The 2025 commencement ceremony will be held at 4pm Wednesday, June 18, on Littel Commencement Field (near the clocktower) on the main Centralia College campus. 

RSVP Required TO PARTICIPATE 

To participate in the Commencement Ceremony and to guarantee that your name will be included in the Commencement Program, you must complete the online RSVP for the Commencement Ceremony form below by May 23.  If you have any questions, email graduationCC@centralia.edu or call Enrollment Services 360-623-8976.

Cap and Gown Information

You have several options for cap and gown:  

  • You can purchase a royal blue cap, gown, and tassel from Jostens (see below for ordering instructions).
  • You can borrow a royal blue cap and gown from a friend or family member.
  • You can borrow a cap and gown at no cost from Enrollment Services. (Limited supplies are available on a first come, first served basis). Please call Enrollment Services at 360-623-8976 to borrow your cap and gown.

Purchasing a Cap and Gown from Jostens

Step 1: Go to the Joston's website   

  • Type in Centralia College and select Centralia College, Centralia WA
  • Choose Graduation Products and then Graduation Caps & Gowns

Step 2: Select the Cap and Gown to begin the order

  • Price: Cap, Gown, and Tassel - $29.35 plus tax and $5.95 shipping/handling. Items can be ordered individually as well. The Centralia College Bookstore will also have commemorative tassels available for purchase.
  • May 1 is the FINAL DEADLINE for ordering your cap and gown online. 
  • After Thursday, May 1, orders must be placed with Jostens call center at 800-854-7464 and will incur a $20 late fee.

Ordered/purchased and borrowed caps/gowns and honor cords can be picked up in Enrollment Services on the 2nd floor of the TransAlta Commons (TAC) building. Check your email and this page for Commencement updates and cap/gown pick up information.

How to Apply for Graduation

In order for your degree to be awarded and to receive information for the Commencement Ceremony, you must apply for graduation. The Graduation Application will determine if you are eligible to obtain your certificate or diploma. Information regarding the Commencement Ceremony will be sent mid-March. There is no fee to apply for graduation or to participate in Commencement.

Diplomas

Centralia College will mail diplomas approximately 60 days after the end of the quarter in which the requirements for the program has been completed and verified. Diplomas will be mailed to the address on the student’s record.
